Backlight

A simple texture that adds light to the front of a face based on the light hitting the back of the face.

Good for simple "paper thin" translucency.

Operation is straight-forward: the "backlit" color (or texture) is used when light hits the backside of a face.

Things to watch out for:

Self-shadowing: objects that have thickness will shadow themselves, and the backlight effect will be destroyed.
It's good to use this texture in the self-illumination slot, with the self-illumination "color" checkbox on.
